1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing aigranthelper.com, you agree to these terms of service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, do not use this site. The materials on this website are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.
2. Use of Service
AI Grant Helper provides grant research tools, funder databases, and AI-assisted grant writing features for nonprofits, churches, and faith-based organizations. You may use our tools for personal and organizational use. You may not republish our content as your own, use it in commercial products for resale, or remove attribution.
If you are a nonprofit, church, or ministry using our resources to improve your fundraising — that is exactly what they are for. Use them freely.
3. AI Tools
AI Grant Helper offers AI-powered tools, including funder matching, grant draft generation, and research enrichment. These tools are provided as aids to your work, not replacements for professional judgment. Important terms:
- No guarantee of funding. AI Grant Helper is a research and writing tool. The decision to fund a grant application is made solely by the funder, and is outside our control. Use of our tools does not guarantee, imply, or promise that any grant application will be funded, reviewed, or considered by any funder.
- No guarantee of AI output quality. AI-generated content may contain inaccurate statistics, fabricated citations, incorrect information about funders, or other errors. You are responsible for reviewing, verifying, and correcting all AI output before using it in any grant application or fundraising communication.
- Your responsibility. The final grant narrative, appeal letter, or other document you submit is yours. The Almoner is not responsible for the content of AI-generated output or for any consequences of submitting AI-assisted work to funders, donors, or other parties.
- Funder policies. A growing number of foundations and government agencies have policies about AI use in grant applications. It is your responsibility to check your funder's guidelines and comply with any disclosure requirements.
The Almoner is a signatory of the Fundraising AI Framework for Responsible and Beneficial AI. We are committed to building AI tools that respect donor and beneficiary dignity, protect user privacy, and never enable manipulation or deception. See our Responsible AI page for details.
4. Accounts and Data Ownership
You own the data you enter into AI Grant Helper — your organization information, program descriptions, grant applications, funder notes, and any documents you upload. We do not claim ownership of your content.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
5. Subscriptions and Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.
If your payment fails, we will attempt to collect for up to 14 days. If payment cannot be collected, your account will be downgraded to the free tier. Your data will be preserved, but access to paid features will be restricted.
Founding members who signed up during the beta period retain free access to the Pro tier as described at the time of their registration.
6. Email Communications
When you provide your email address — through account creation, a lead magnet download, or a newsletter signup — you consent to receiving the specific content you requested and occasional product updates from AI Grant Helper. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying STOP or using the unsubscribe link in any email. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.
7. Research Data
AI Grant Helper provides access to foundation and government grant data sourced from IRS 990-PF filings, Grants.gov, SAM.gov, and USASpending.gov. This data is updated periodically but may not reflect current grantmaking priorities, open application windows, or contact information. We do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, relevance, or timeliness of this information.
You are responsible for verifying all funder information, eligibility requirements, and deadlines directly with the funding source before submitting any application.
8. Regulated Data
The Service is not designed to process protected health information (PHI) under HIPAA, student education records under FERPA, or other specially regulated data categories. You agree not to enter such data into the Service.
9. Disclaimer
AI Grant Helper provides educational content and tools for informational purposes. We are not a law firm, accounting firm, or licensed professional advisor. Our content does not constitute legal, tax, financial, or professional advice. Use of the Service does not create a professional advisor, consultant, or fiduciary relationship. Consult qualified professionals for advice specific to your situation.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. THE ALMONER, LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE MAKE NO WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PURPOSE.
10. Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL THE ALMONER, LLC BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FROM UNSUCCESSFUL GRANT APPLICATIONS, AI-GENERATED ERRORS, MISSED DEADLINES, LOSS OF DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL FEES PAID BY YOU IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Almoner, LLC from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from: (a) your use of the Service, (b) your content and grant applications, (c) your violation of these terms, or (d) your violation of any rights of a third party.
12. External Links and Third-Party Services
Our website links to external sites and services (including AI providers, email services, and analytics platforms) that we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms of service. Use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms.
13. Changes to Terms
The Almoner may revise these terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of McDuffie County, Georgia.
